GEA equipment appoints Warren McCready as Irish region manager

German-headquartered equipment and systems group GEA has named technology sales specialist Warren McCready as its manager for Ireland and Northern Ireland.

As the business explained, his early career was devoted to the FMCG sector, before moving on to sales of full production lines. Having worked for some of the world’s market leading equipment manufacturers including industrial utilities equipment and food processing lines, Warren is an ideal fit for the role at GEA, and brings with him a breadth and depth of experience in technology solutions.

Working for GEA across the whole island of Ireland, Warren will be focussing heavily on the food technology side of things, leveraging GEA’s expertise in and reputation for quality and reliability in all applications from mixing/grinding to forming, coating, cooking and packaging.

Further to this, packaging for pharmaceuticals will be another key area of focus, with Ireland being a significant player in the European market for some of the biggest medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
